What does RSVP mean?
R.S.V.P. stands for respondez s'il vous
plait, or in English "Respond if you Please" or simply Please
Respond. The proper etiquette or protocol for an RSVP is
to respond to the invitation by letting your host/hostess know
if you will be attending the event. RSVP does not
mean "respond if you plan to attend".
